Tripswitch

Melodic depth. Emotional journeys. Progressive without boundaries.

Nick Brennan, better known as Tripswitch, bridges the worlds of immersive chillout and melodic progressive house. His 2016 album Vagabond on Iboga Records marked a defining moment in that evolution, reaching number one in Beatport’s Electronica chart.

His progressive catalogue includes releases on Bedrock, Sudbeat, The Soundgarden, Movement, Balkan Connection, Flow Vinyl and Pure Progressive. Studio collaborations with Nick Warren and Hernán Cattaneo reflect the musical connections at the heart of his work.

Tripswitch’s DJ sets are melodic, emotionally charged journeys, shaped by a producer’s attention to detail and a deep understanding of musical progression. His Harmonics show on Frisky Radio has provided another outlet for that expansive sound.

In 2017, he founded onedotsixtwo, a label dedicated to forward-thinking progressive music. Its catalogue includes Voight Kampff, his collaboration with Nick Warren, and reflects the same independent, carefully curated approach that runs through his own productions.
