Kasey Taylor
A progressive spirit. A global perspective. Deep roots in Melbourne.
Request Kasey Taylor ↗Kasey Taylor built his reputation in Melbourne before taking his sound to an international audience. An invitation from John Digweed to play at London’s Bedrock night in the mid-1990s became a turning point, opening the door to a worldwide DJ career.
His contribution to electronic music extends beyond the booth. Through Vapour Recordings, eVapour8 and Lo-Fi 45, Taylor has developed platforms for distinctive music, drawing on his experience to discover, support and nurture artists.
That combination of dancefloor instinct and a label owner’s ear defines his approach: a commitment to progressive music, thoughtful selection and an enduring connection with listeners across generations.
